Iran takes family hostage to compel father, Syria plays kidnapper
October 10th, 2008 by Glenn CalevalCommentary by Glenn Caleval
Below you will find an Urgent Appeal from Amnesty International seeking assistance in the forcible detention of a family. The proper terms to use in describing this disgraceful episode are “kidnapping” and “hostages.”
The nub of the story is that Syrian government kidnapped a family, mother and five children, and trafficked them to the barbarian regime in Iran. The barbarians are now holding the family hostage, their safety being extortion to force the father to return to Iran for his own measure of torture.
The mother is being held separately from her children. The condition of the family is not known. What is known is that Iran has shown itself to behave like any other hostage taker; even if the father surrenders to the barbarians they are unlikely to release his family. These are the same thugs who murdered a female Canadian journalist and who continue to persecute Arabs living in Iran, despite the official claim of allegiance to Islam. Do the Persian criminals believe the Prophet was other than Arabic? Read rest of this article on WWPN.
